Here’s the deal: The second fruits and vegetables are peeled, cut, pressed, or blended, the oxidation process starts. That leaves only a 2-3 day window for you to enjoy the maximum amount of health benefits from juices or smoothies.
Because of current mass pre-packaging regulations, companies must alter their juice or smoothies via pasteurization or HPP, stretching juice shelf life from 2-3 days to 40+ days. Yikes.
We make sure that everything from the growing process to the handling process keeps the fruits and veggies in their truest form. It’s like farm to table, but to be honest, we thought farm to bot sounded cooler.
Once the organic produce reaches our commercial kitchen from the farm, we wash, prep, and test for pertinent pathogens like Salmonella and Listeria. To learn more about how we keep it real, check out our food safety page.
